Honeywell UOP's C4 oleflex process is used to convert isobutane produced in the refinery to isobutene. Isobutene is an important petrochemical product needed in the production of fuel and synthetic rubber. Longgang chemical will be UOP's second oleflex process authorization project in China. In addition, Honeywell UOP will also provide basic engineering design, catalyst, adsorbent, special equipment and engineering services for the project
